Redlands Bowl, Redlands

(4.8/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival story began in 1923 with the founding of the Redlands Community Music Association (RCMA) by a woman with a vision - Grace Stewart Mullen. Mrs. Mullen's vision was that "music is for everyone" therefore no admission is ever charged for a Redlands Bowl performance. The season includes symphonies, operas, dance programs, and a full-scale musical production. The Redlands Bowl also features a Young Artist competition where talented musicians from all over Southern California compete for a chance to perform on the Bowl stage. The Redlands Bowl is a treasured Southern California tradition.

  • I have been a Bowl Associate since 1991 and a member of the Hospitality Ensemble for over 10 years! Great place to do volunteer work for the community. Great entertainment outside.  more »
  • Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the evening and performance! Community donates so there is no entrance fee. Donate $20. So much better than the movies or TV. You can't beat it!  more »
  • The Redlands Bowl provides the hometown feeling of high end entertainment reminiscent of a bygone era. There is an annual stage presentation and several symphonic presentations by our own Redlands Sym...  more »

  • Beautiful historic structure on well landscaped, nicely kept grounds. Free concert events in the summer festival series. The event I went to was wonderful. Parking was available nearby. There are snacks and treats available for purchase. Ushers and information tables to help you out. Full bathrooms available, clean facilities. Redlands Bowl is a great experience!
  • Absolutely a fantastic place to see plays. Open to public and really well done. Also nice place to walk and enjoy.
  • Granddaughter had graduation there very nice, only issue is parking.
  • What's not to love free concerts, open air seating, and convenient location!
  • One of the oldest places in the nation. Great place to take in a show when they have events.
