  • This may sound bad, but we don't ski here as much as we used to. Typically, we stop now on the way out to Bozeman or Big Sky, or on the way home. There are not a lot of decent hotel choices that accom...  read more »
  • We have skied at Red Lodge twice and had a great experience on both trips. Friendly staff and short lines...great ski resort!
  • After our tremendous ride on the Beartooth Highway, we visited the town of Red Lodge. Many good restaurants, nice town to walk, great family time. Just a fun afternoon with the family.
  • Pure Montana skiing. Great value, fun mountain town with a very laid back, slow-paced atmosphere. Totally unpretentious resort with numerous great runs. LOVE the Palisades and the mid-mountain chalet--my wife is crazy for the chili cheese fries. Drifter into Latigo, Lazy M, Paradise and Columbine rule. Easy access from the Midwest, only 12.5 hrs from Minneapolis. We stop in Billings, stock up at Costco and then hit Big Bear Sports for discount adult lift tickets, where you save $15 per ticket. From Billings, Red Lodge is only 45 minutes. Forgetaboutit!
  • Crappiest mountain I have ever been to. They wait until you get into the lift line to inform snowboarders that you have to buy one of thier overpriced leashes from the gift shop. You go in the shop and everyone in there is buying leashes. Go figure. Both times I have been it was solid ice. There aren't any tree runs just groomed runs. Any snowboarder will enjoy the other great resorts Montana has to offer. Also you have to ask for them to build the tiny fire in the lodge, so don't expect to be able to go in and warm up.
  • Great mountain, and top notch staff! Everyone is so friendly.
  • Great people, great skiing
  • I have snowboarded all over the country. From Switzer in Idaho to Wildcat in Vermont. Redlodge is an excellent mountain. lifts are a little slow but the terrain and great atmosphere make up for it!
