  • Great prices, great skiing, very short lift lines. We enjoyed 2 days of skiing here. Our kids took lessons and got their first taste of skiing. The instructors were friendly. Not sure I'd rent our ski...  more »
  • Short lift lines, great snow conditions, and killer trails makes RLM our favorite! The trails offer lots of variety for family members with differing abilities yet the mountain is small enough that it...  more »

  • Attended Winter Festival at Red Lodge Mountain. Tailgating in the parking lot and cardboard vehicle race on the mountain. Lots of fun! Spent a week skiing here. This is a casual, old school ski mountain and is really a relaxing change from the higher end Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail, Park City, etc. Snow and grooming were great! Nice blue runs. Only drawback is the slow lifts but the prices compensate for that. Would be 5 stars if lifts were faster.
  • Much bigger mountain than I thought! Every staff member I encountered, ticket ladies, rental shop staff and lifties we're all over the top nice. The terrain off the Coal Creek was dynamite and hardly anyone skiing back there. Well worth the visit, and glad I did.
  • Took my daughter for the first time. It was only 65 dollars for equipment and 90 min group lesson. Went on a Thursday and she was the only one in her group so it ended up being a one on one lesson. Bunny hill is very nice place to learn skiing. Hot cocoa and a hot dog afterward.
  • Red lodge Mountain is a great place to ski when it is fully open and has snow this year 2018 had a lot of snow great skiing!! 6 of the 7 lifts are open and all the trails are open except for four of them. But this year it was great I recommend getting up there before the end of the season!
  • Great ski area! I will say that I have skied a lot of places and in some cases I felt like their trail rating was a little off. The biggest improvement red lodge could do is better marking the terrain. More signage for trails and letting people know we're the moguls are it. I don't personally like to ski moguls and with my wife learning it's hard to know what trails to take that don't have them. The barriers trail was a nightmare for her. That would be the biggest improvement for the mountain that I saw. As for the cafeteria, it's not bad. The food was decent, but the price was a little steep I felt. The chili cheese fries are certainly the bomb! Ready to ski again today!
