  • Visited Storybrook island with grandparents and young children. The park is absolutely charming! Almost every nursery rhyme is represented with some kind of unique playhouse/sculpture/ride. It was alm...  read more »
  • All sorts of fun displays and play structures. The place is free unless you want to donate. Very cute well maintained play area. Lots of fun!
  • The kids loved seeing all of the exotic animals. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you South Dakota
  • This is a great place to take young children! As the name indicates, the park is filled with various storybook character themed playground equipment. The park is free, but they do ask for donations to cover operating costs. They also have a great Christmas lights display over the holidays. The holiday display is fun for all ages, and they sell hot drinks at this event. The Christmas lights display does have a cost.
  • Super fun for our 1 & 3 year old. We easily spent a couple hours there. No outside food or drinks, but there's a concession stand. We went around 2 pm and it was very hot, maybe half the playground equipment and attractions are shaded. Next time we will go earlier. Very clean, nice park. No pets allowed so I didn't have to worry about my kids running around on the grass and stepping in poop.
  • Lots of areas the kids can run around in. One great thing is that the part is fully enclosed with chain link fence topped with only one entrance. The park has a box right at the entrance for optional donations - they suggest $1/person which is a great deal for everything there is for kids to play on there. To ride the train or the carousel is only $2/person which is worth it to me. Large park with lots of icons from fairy tales through many years.
  • Love this place; it's safe, free and I went as a child and am now bringing my child. They're always trying to maintain and add to the park. It's free but donations are welcome; definitely a must in Rapid!
  • Excellent park! It's free admission and the extras such as face painting or train rides do cost, it's all fairly priced! I was so impressed, I even had a blast!
