  • This is a great place to take young children! As the name indicates, the park is filled with various storybook character themed playground equipment. The park is free, but they do ask for donations to cover operating costs. They also have a great Christmas lights display over the holidays. The holiday display is fun for all ages, and they sell hot drinks at this event. The Christmas lights display does have a cost.
  • Great place to take the kids. Completely free and so much for the kids to do!! Plus, I always enjoy seeing statues of the characters from the stories I grew up.
  • This is an amazing place to take children. My four year old and one year old loved everything about it and didn't even have to stay in the "five and under" area to have a good time. Admission is free, but there is a train and carousel to ride for $2 (Or $4 if an adult has to ride too). Get the kiddos a freezer pop for fifty cents, and a frozen lemonade for yourself. You'll be glad you did.
  • Super fun for our 1 & 3 year old. We easily spent a couple hours there. No outside food or drinks, but there's a concession stand. We went around 2 pm and it was very hot, maybe half the playground equipment and attractions are shaded. Next time we will go earlier. Very clean, nice park. No pets allowed so I didn't have to worry about my kids running around on the grass and stepping in poop.
  • Lots of areas the kids can run around in. One great thing is that the part is fully enclosed with chain link fence topped with only one entrance. The park has a box right at the entrance for optional donations - they suggest $1/person which is a great deal for everything there is for kids to play on there. To ride the train or the carousel is only $2/person which is worth it to me. Large park with lots of icons from fairy tales through many years.
