  • This lake is a touch off the beaten path; just find it on your iPhone map. It is a lovely centerpiece of western Rapid City. We sat and sunned on the lakeside hill, but there are lovely walking paths ...  more »
  • This park is usually very quiet and relaxing. Some fishing goes on here. The walk to the gazebo is wonderful. The main park has some playground equipment for kids.  more »
  • Great to walk around the lake, and the duck pond, nice golf course, but plenty of green space to boot. Some history here as well. Really worth stopping.  more »

  • It is very relaxing. I enjoy the sounds of the water running in the streams. The views are peaceful. One of my favorite places to walk.
  • Beautiful any time of the year...make sure you walk out to Gazebo Island.
  • A nice place to hammock or go for a stroll. The lake sometimes smells in warm weather, but tis still nice
  • It's great for hanging out with friends and having a barbecue, playing games. Some of the paths are in need of repair. So watch your step. Otherwise, a great place to chill.
  • Quiet, nice walking paths. Facilites are clean and well maintained, great pavilions for picnics or family gatherings.
