  • This was a small and interesting museum to visit. We had thought we could see the light house, but it only has certain days in the month when it is accessible. Plan for a 15-20 minute visit to get thr...  more »
  • The light house is gorgeous. We couldn't figure out if there was a way to go inside, but it was fun to hike over to it and see it close up. It's gorgeous and evocative from a distance.  more »
  • We usually take the trail leading to the Point Vicente Lighthouse. It open to the public for the third (not sure) Saturday each month.  more »

  • Great place to just look around with your loved ones and enjoy the view. The trail is really nice for a walk and talk and people have lots of picnics and reservations at the restaurant within it. Nice play to take pictures as well if you're into photographing great scenery. :)
  • This is one of the landmarks for LA. Awesome Ocean Front, whale watching. Good Park. You can get a peace of mind and release your stress.
  • Cool place to check out and get a good view of the shore line and ocean.
  • Lovely views from the medium sized lighthouse! There is a small gift store as well, and it's a great place to visit and just look at the ocean. It has very specific hours, only open a handful of days each month, so be sure to check them before arriving. In addition, children under 7 are not allowed. Check out the lighthouse website for more information. Pro tip - this is a fairly well contested Ingress portal, if you're a player, you'll probably see one (or both) factions there while you visit!
  • We went to Palos Verdes for Whale Watching Day. Too bad, there was no whale to be seen. Fortunately, the walk along the Point Vicente Interpretive Center amazed with a breathtaking coastal view of the cliff with lighthouse! It would have even more amazing being there during sunset!
