  • Thoroughly enjoyed the home tour and garden tour. I’ve waited a few years to see Sunnylands. It met and exceeded all of our expectations. It’s a work of art and we highly recommend others visit...

  • Such an amazing garden and well funded and taking care of grounds. The entrance is free for the gardens but if you want to see the house you need to make reservations online a month in advance. There is a small gift shop, a nice cafe. The display of cactus are amazing. There is a short movie that tells the history and the importance of its role in modern US history. Also showcase the Annenbergs involvement with US and foreign politics. There is also a display of the china that has been used while hosting different dignitaries.
  • This place is a great gift to the people that drop by to enjoy what's there. It's not enormous, but big enough to lose yourself in the solitude of the cactus gardens. They have three different garden paths that are separated by the parking area. The main path is accessed directly through the building and what a treat. The other two are more of a nature walk with no real infrastructure. There's even a small art gallery and restaurant too. All of this is very nice and most impressively, free to the public. Parking is limited, which I believe is to keep the visitors to a manageable level. It's not for everyone though. If you're looking for activities or if you have little ones with lots of energy, a cactus garden might not make the most sense even if it's free..
  • No fee to enter and view the garden area. Very nice place to visit and relax. The film, presented on the half hour, about its history and the family that developed it is very interesting. The generosity and world involvement of the family is inspiring. Has a small cafe and seating to enjoy the grounds. We spent an hour here. Thre are also guided tours available from $25 to $50. There is a nine hole golf course and a 25000 square feet home. The home is open for touring but tickets need to be purchased in advance. Worth visiting.
  • Every single staff member is kind knowledgeable and nice! When we arrived, it was so calm we were greeted by a sweet young lady at the desk. We went straight to the cafeteria where both ladies were lovely attentive and fast. The process was fast prices were reasonable and delicious. My French press coffee was delicious! My daughter elected a boxed juice that was refreshing. The gardens are pristine! Beautiful areas to sit talk and enjoy a walk. Wear a hat and sunblock. Bring plenty of water. Because you're not going to want to leave. There are so many gardens you just keep going. Our new favorite place.
  • This place was truly a beautiful surprise! Absolutely loved this peaceful, stunning property! We saw just a very small part of it, walking around the back garden area of the visitors center. We also viewed a fascinating short film documenting the history of the property and its owners. I can't wait to return! Hopefully, next time we will see the rest of the gardens and the Annenberg's iconic mid century home!
