  • This mall was far more “user friendly” than Crabtree Valley Mall. We went to both Macy’s stores, parking was easier at this location and even though it is a smaller store, my wife was able to find sev...  more »
  • Great mall for the area. Went for the Dillard's and I wasn't too disappointed with the selection. Average crowd, not too busy. I don't remember anything extraordinary, but the dining options were pret...  more »
  • This time we get to Triangle Mall is a very busy place. Has lots of stores with great sales. I only went to one store that was Things Remembered I found what I wanted and I came right out but I do lik...  more »

  • Conveniently located right off of 540. This mall once was a beautiful place with outside shopping. Now it has lots of open stores. The Barnes and Noble is two stories. They have a California Pizza Kitchen and The Walking Company is inside. Hopefully the area around this mall will come back. They have a standard food court inside.
  • Triangle town center is one of my favorite places to go walk and people watch with my husband during the cold months. It's always clean and well lit with a good selection of stores and kiosks. It's big enough to make it possible to shop for the entire family, and small enough that you don't feel like you're running a marathon to get from the gamer in your life's Game Stop visit to the tea expert's trip to Teavana.
  • Used this parking lot to catch the shuttle to the NC State Fair. The mall itself has all the stores I love. Not a big shopper so usually just run in and get what I need or came for. Clean, organized and friendly helpful staff on those times I stop in.
  • Pretty nice mall, like your typical mall you go to. The regular stores and food. Nothing too special, but it is nicely kept. Usually pretty crowded, but not unbearable. Nice for going for your normal mall trip.
  • I like the Triangle Town Center. It's a fun place to shop and take the small kids when they have events. They're able to keep it clean with the stores I like to shop in.

Where to stay in Raleigh

Staying downtown provides the most convenient access to Raleigh's leading attractions. You'll find a couple of large, efficient hotels here--they feature a large volume of beds. The area around the North Campus of North Carolina State University lies just west of downtown and features a handful of additional hotels. A cluster of national chain hotels and motels lies in the midtown area north of downtown. There are a couple of bus lines that provide easy access to downtown from here, so this area serves as a suitable option if you cannot find accommodation in the city center. The intersection of I-440 and Route 70 to the northwest of downtown features numerous hotels and motels, but these largely cater to business travelers who require convenient access to both downtown and the airport.
