Where to stay in Raleigh

Staying downtown provides the most convenient access to Raleigh's leading attractions. You'll find a couple of large, efficient hotels here--they feature a large volume of beds. The area around the North Campus of North Carolina State University lies just west of downtown and features a handful of additional hotels. A cluster of national chain hotels and motels lies in the midtown area north of downtown. There are a couple of bus lines that provide easy access to downtown from here, so this area serves as a suitable option if you cannot find accommodation in the city center. The intersection of I-440 and Route 70 to the northwest of downtown features numerous hotels and motels, but these largely cater to business travelers who require convenient access to both downtown and the airport.

  • This time we get to Triangle Mall is a very busy place. Has lots of stores with great sales. I only went to one store that was Things Remembered I found what I wanted and I came right out but I do lik...  more »
  • Triangle Town has become kind of a dump, which is pretty sad to say. Many of the stores have such a bad time with staying in business there. The anchor stores do pretty well but other than that, many ...  more »
  • This mall is pretty cool. Me and the kids go here some days just to go by the little play area on really hot days. This mall also has a small in ground water fountain that kids can cool off and have a...  more »

  • Great shopes and best places to take family and friends when in town. Saks Fifth and Books and Noble are my favorite. Don't forget the Starbucks.
  • Nice mall where friends can get together and enjoy a nice spot to hangout. There are many stores available in the that appeal to almost every type of person. The reason I give it 4 stars is solely because I' not impressed with how the mall looks. The aritecture look pretty ordinary from the inside compared to other malls in the Raleigh area.
  • One of the nicest malls in the Raleigh area. Near many other shopping centers, some kid friendly play areas and a in mall mini train the kids can ride that goes all over the first floor on a small tour of sorts. Only downside is the food court is somewhat small.
  • Beautiful indoor/outdoor mall with many food court options. Select stores are here as well. More so a direct store mall than a walk about and peruse location.
  • Nice mall. Still nice but starting to show some age. Still recommend it though.
