  • The restaurant is nice southern cooking with delicious biscuits! They have a great veggie omelette for the vegetarian in the group. If you go to the top most buildings there's a small vendor on the end that has the most delicious fresh squeezed lemonade but you should also add in Orange. It's so refreshing on those really hot days! Also, sample all the strawberries before you buy!
  • Great fresh produce, plants, cut flowers, and honey! All grown in NC. Everyone is so friendly & helpful. On the premises is a seafood restaurant that has great fried seafood. Also on site are the market shops, in a climate controlled building. They have jams, jelly, locally made cheese, wine and bakery items. Also decorative crafts.
  • Prices are a little high, great selection of fruits and veggies, also baked goods and lots of plants. The merchant building is loaded with everything from local items, yard decorations, food and lots of gift items. It is fun to walk and shop especially on a pretty day. They have 2 sit down restaurants and a grill where you can get a sandwich, hot dog and hand cut fries.
  • Great place for fresh locally grown produce & plants, baked goods, honey, nuts, cheese and more. Also, there is a great seafood and a southern style restaurant. Both restaurants are worth visiting. On a nice weekend day, expect crowds and a wait at the restaurants. For a quick stop, try to avoid the lunch hour, and avoid the restaurants except during the week.
  • Woke up Sunday morning with a craving for some fried fish, so I headed over to the N.C Seafood Restaurant at the Farmer's Market. The shrimp was the best. If you wanna get a good amount of fruits and veggies at best price, head to the "wholesale" section and buy in bulk and get your barter on! This is also the best place in the triangle to stock up on your local honey.
