  • I Love this market! I try to take family and friends from out of state anytime they visit. This visit was full of holiday: Christmas trees, wreaths, poinsettias and all the late fall produce you could...  more »
  • This time of year lots of greens and root vegetables. There are fresh baked goods and canned okra, jams, jellies, and butters of all kinds. Some flowers and landscaping evergreens.  more »
  • Late fall brings out the apples and collard greens, which were in great abundance. More natural honey being sold as well. Seafood restaurant is a must, but fair warning- the platters will easily feed ...  more »

  • Love the fresh veggies and fruit! I came by and picked up some honey from the bee blessed homey booth! Simply irresistible! Some fresh veggies and fruit for the holiday meals. What's not to love!? Love a seafood lunch? The NC Seafood restaurant is a great and affordable lunch...pro tip: order the large and share it. More than enough food for two and a great value. Outdoor seating for the nice days and plenty of indoor seating for the not so nice.
  • NC State Seafood Owners Restaurant, is such a treat. If you love Seafood, any type of Seafood; and if you are anywhere near the Raleigh Farmer's Market, do yourself a favor and drop by. The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. The prices are more than reasonable and the portions will leave you asking for a takeout container. I didn't have time to see all the market, but this visit truly made my day.
  • Great Place! Fresh EVERYTHING! The food is great! They have a little stand that makes juice for you and I love it! I also get my fresh flowers here! I love to get muscadine grapes and wash them and walk around the market!!!!
  • The sea food restaurant is the best I've had and is very fresh. The farmers market has very cheap and fresh produce and other products. My only complaint is that some suplliers don't have credit card or debit card payments. But overall I do recommend stopping by.
  • Great place. It has just about everything according to its availability during the seasons. Several restaurants as well. Lots of great independent vendors. Rare Earth Farms has great steaks.

Where to stay in Raleigh

Staying downtown provides the most convenient access to Raleigh's leading attractions. You'll find a couple of large, efficient hotels here--they feature a large volume of beds. The area around the North Campus of North Carolina State University lies just west of downtown and features a handful of additional hotels. A cluster of national chain hotels and motels lies in the midtown area north of downtown. There are a couple of bus lines that provide easy access to downtown from here, so this area serves as a suitable option if you cannot find accommodation in the city center. The intersection of I-440 and Route 70 to the northwest of downtown features numerous hotels and motels, but these largely cater to business travelers who require convenient access to both downtown and the airport.
