  • We go pretty regularly to the flea market and find it nice to get outside, get a little exercise and chat with good folks. We also now and then find something we buy. We enjoy the fact there is a sect...  more »
  • Make sure you have half a day. Explore. Meet local vendors. Find antiques and new items. Get the fresh produce. You really can’t go wrong.  more »
  • Every time I go here I find something new and different. The outside vendors are more willing to haggle. Especially if it's a rainy day. The inside vendors are nice. Love the bow lady and love the man...  more »

  • I LOVE THIS PLACE!! There's a husband & wife who sell the best smelling soaps for $1! The knife selection at this one old Asian man's table is unbelievable! The Fudge, oh man the Fudge is so good! I cant find anything to complain about.
  • I' m writing this review in reference to the Gourmet Spice Shop inside the actual flea market building. The shop carries high-quality spices, and is staffed by a wonderfully kind woman. If you have the chance, I recommend asking for a sample of the "Robusto Pacific Flake Sea Salt". It's great stuff!
  • Great prices!! Fantastic diversity from antiques to fresh exotic fruits. its worth checking it out.
  • Great place if you're looking for something specific like furniture, antiques, or craftsmanship, but also stellar if you're looking to go to a bunch of different yardsales all at once. Great hangout spot for anyone of any age or people with families/young kids - not overly crowded most weekends and the vendors are for the most part super friendly and helpful when it comes to making deals and setting up larger item delivery/pick up. I can definitely make my dollar stretch here and always feel like I am getting a good deal.
  • Unpredictable Custom Woods has awesome chairs and awesome handmade wooden flags!!! Amazing dude

Where to stay in Raleigh

Staying downtown provides the most convenient access to Raleigh's leading attractions. You'll find a couple of large, efficient hotels here--they feature a large volume of beds. The area around the North Campus of North Carolina State University lies just west of downtown and features a handful of additional hotels. A cluster of national chain hotels and motels lies in the midtown area north of downtown. There are a couple of bus lines that provide easy access to downtown from here, so this area serves as a suitable option if you cannot find accommodation in the city center. The intersection of I-440 and Route 70 to the northwest of downtown features numerous hotels and motels, but these largely cater to business travelers who require convenient access to both downtown and the airport.
