  • PNC Arena is a great place to watch a basketball game. Parking is plentiful, the concourse area is large and easy to navigate, and the seating is great. All seats in the arena are close to the action.  more »
  • Came for the Avett Brother's NYE show. Great venue for the concert. Comfortable, well-staffed, good vendor options and an amazing concert to top it off. The venue does no look it's age. Clean with gre...  more »
  • Really enjoy going here once a year to catch our Washington CAPs. Tough to match the intensity of our home Arena, but this place really makes things fun for the home crowd. Thank you!  more »

  • First time here and was really surprised at how well it was put together. Very nice place to watch a NHL game. Was in town for the holidays and happened that the Hurricanes had a home game. Was able to get seats at a very reasonable price compared to other stadiums we have visited, and on game day also. Very helpful staff led us to our seats. Nice selection from the concession stands. Really recommend a visit if you are in town. I will be back again when I visit next time.
  • PNC Arena is perfect! Well, close. Clean! Security was everywhere but not imposing on the excitement. The staff!! Any business should take note....the staff were all well informed and knew answers to questions. I don't go to events often so $ for concessions was a surprise. Bottle water $5!? I made do with wine. Keep up the outstanding job!
  • As arenas go it good. The food, facilities and staff are great. The leg room is a deal breaker. I'm not freakish tall, only 6'4", but the leg room means my knees jam against the chair and person in front.
  • Great venue. Parking is expensive, but finally this year they can take cards instead of just cash! Just be aware that a water bottle will run you $5.50 and the food prices just go up from there. The ushers are helpful and kind and even my ticket checker was friendly.
  • Me , my son and his friend was there to watch Disney on ice: dare to dream. It was amazing though only a two hour show. But you have to remember to carry plenty of money with you. The parking was $20 and to get food was as high as another $20 per person with also toys you can buy. This is something we will do again

Where to stay in Raleigh

Staying downtown provides the most convenient access to Raleigh's leading attractions. You'll find a couple of large, efficient hotels here--they feature a large volume of beds. The area around the North Campus of North Carolina State University lies just west of downtown and features a handful of additional hotels. A cluster of national chain hotels and motels lies in the midtown area north of downtown. There are a couple of bus lines that provide easy access to downtown from here, so this area serves as a suitable option if you cannot find accommodation in the city center. The intersection of I-440 and Route 70 to the northwest of downtown features numerous hotels and motels, but these largely cater to business travelers who require convenient access to both downtown and the airport.
