  • absolutely beautiful. Clean and big. Has activities to do like paddle boats and canoes. Almost 3 miles trail around the whole lake. Also has a pouch area to look at the water and even to bring your lunch. Also has areas where you can rent out for parties.
  • I've lived next to lake Johnson for several years now. The trailers are great to walk or run on. There is a completely paved trail and also trails that are more rugged but still very wide. There are Canadian geese there all summer long. You can rent a kayak or pedal boat at an hourly rate of around five dollars. There are also several picnic areas to enjoyed. Finding a place to park can be a challenge on the weekends if you have to drive there.
  • Great place to walk your dog or simply a peace of the mind. The people are super friendly and there is always parking. I love going in the am.
  • Lake Johnson is a great place to take a stroll. Take your camera with because you never know what you will see. Fall colors are great and you can find a lot of wild life. In the spring their is a fox family that raise a den full of kits. Eagle fish and fly over sometime. Hawks.owls, great blue herons and much more. Mushroom and lady slippers ca[[ this home. One side of the lake is flat and the other side is hilly. I walk the hilly side in and out and you will climb 30+ flights of stairs. This is a family park with fishing and boat rental and picnic areas.
  • The best place to run. It has many hills while enjoying fantastic views. If you follow the Lake Trail you will run approximately 3 miles around the lake.
