  • The inside museum has exhibits that explain the history and interactive displays to show how the mill worked. A little area is available as well for kids to play. There is an exhibit that has stuffed birds, turtles, and bones of other animals which is very nice for kids who like animals. They also do different activities throughout the week such as story time and educational classes. The outside has a nice trail that leads to the waterfall that used to turn the wheel. We enjoyed our time and will come back.
  • This park is beautiful. The walking trails are very easy and pretty much always next to water. The bridges really make this park different from others like it. There are plenty of animals here so keep an eye out while you're walking around. One of my favorite parks in the area for sure.
  • Nice place to spend an hour or so. There are 3 trails that one can take. No playfound for kids but there is a mill exhibit
  • We came here on a random outing and just wanted to explore. Pleasantly surprised at the activities for small kids indoors and the shirt distance to the mill itself. Was not too impressed with the right side (closest to the water) but really enjoyed the small bridge leading over a stream which led to a much better view of the water wheel attached to the mill. Beautiful and easily accessible. 5 stars.
  • My family and I went to the mill in December and it was super cool and informative in the separate building. Because we went in the winter the mill was closed, so we missed all of that, which was a little disappointing, but I did some research beforehand so I knew that it wouldn’t be open. The trail was very nice, but at the beginning there was a pretty steep decent and then some stairs, so it wouldn’t be great for handicapped people, but it was great for our family! The staff was extremely kind and answered ALL of the questions we had, they also gave us SUPER cool stickers and pins and pencils! I would gladly go back in the summer, to be able to see inside the mill! I most definitely would recommend this family trip!!
