  • In 1980, prior to the year Regency Mall opened, I worked at one of the anchor stores - Boston Store, and helped to prepare it for its 1981 opening debut. Before the mall opened to the public, I rememb...  more »
  • The "mall" has some good stores, but many are closed. It's filed with kids just hanging out in groups and in our case, trying to intimidate us by surrounding us. Not funny as i was with my 82 yo mothe...  more »
  • Some of the shops in the mall were empty and, on a Sunday, it seemed pretty much of a ghost town. However, we did manage to do quite a bit of shopping at Ross, which has a separate entrance from the m...  more »
  • I don't know what to really say about this mall, years ago it was a very lively place to shop and go to kill time. The mall is mainly dead most of the time with prices that have changed for the worst, but you can find deals if you look hard enough. With stores closing and opening at the same time it becomes a pain in the butt to be honest. Stores come and go from this mall, and to my understanding more new stores are coming soon. If you looking to kill time and grab a bite to eat for a short time this is the place for it. No more Arcade room, no more high priced Sears to get your tires changed or battery, no more of really anything. Game stop is still there with a few shoe stores and cell phone company's like tmobile and Sprint etc...but other then that it's kinda of boring and makes you feel like you have become to old to enjoy life in a mall, but you can kill some time there, more to do outside the mall then in the mall.
  • I am new to the mall, mall employees are friendly. Mall is safe and doesnt seem to be a lot of crying children which is starkly different from other malls I have worked at. The people that shop there are a melting pot of races, just like any city, but unlike other malls, I have not witnessed any bad behavior at Regency. Great stores and restaurants. Ice cream and coffee. There are at least 60 stores there. I frankly do not know what people are talking about when they say there is nothing there. It is also very clean and modern. 1980 was not that long ago. Geez, it seems people just love to complain, But when they love something they may talk about it but rarely write reviews. There are plenty of places to sit down and relax after shopping or to wait for and meet family and friends. Definitely for the health conscious too, with a Planet Fitness, GNC and The B12 Store. Do you see a trend? And do you realize the US army has an office there, it couldn't be any safer then that!
  • I had to love this place as a kid. all the stores were packed and there were so many things to see, expecally as a kid on Christmas. but things change and now it's kinda blah. many stores are also missing its really kinda sad.
  • A nice place to have around. A few good select stores. Quiet and never too busy. Less stores than there use to be. With an update and a few more known stores added, it'd be great.
  • Great anchor stores, not too much indoors left though. This mall is an interesting place that's for sure
