  • The Racine zoo use to be a free zoo for as long as I can remember. I always took pride to be able to say that it was. Unfortunately, it is not anymore. I have bought memberships for my children and gr...  more »
  • This is a small Zoo but very nice. It is on the lake and is just a nice size for family with young children that get bored in a big Zoo. Try it you will like it.  more »
  • First time here. Beautiful park like setting. This seems more like a park with animals then a full zoo. All animals look happy and enclosures seem roomy and nice. Staff friendly. Free easy parking. Pr...  more »

  • Nice variety of animals. Two separate park areas and train available to keep kids entertained. Cute little aviary open during the summer months with option to buy feed sticks for the birds. Giraffe feeding also available for a small fee. Big Cats containment area seems a bit small. Although the zoo is small, the compact layout makes it easy to experience the entire zoo in one trip, even with little kids. Prices are extremely fair, making a year membership attainable for many. But be aware that the only parking available is streets idea city parking. And can become congested during high attendance days.
  • This is a nice little zoo that won't take too long to get through if your kids can't handle a full zoo day. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Not many of the animals were out when we went, but the female lions were out and were happily trying to play with our umbrella through the glass. It was a riot! We would like to go back if we are ever in the area again!
  • Back when the zoo was free I thought this place was adorable and the perfect place to take my two toddler children. It had lots of open spaces and a couple of this and a couple of that - just like Noah's Ark. But now that they charge an admission I feel is far too much for the experience that we get at the zoo. It's a shame. I used to love the openings to the beach from the zoo as well, but now those are locked up.
  • Great zoo for small children. Small enough to walk if exercise is any issue. Easy to navigate with a stroller Great staff, very friendly and helpful 2 parks for all ages
  • Great little zoo. Some very unique animals there. It was affordable and not crowded at all. The walkways were wonderful to travel on and you have a great view of the lake in most parts. The day my partner and I went, the mere-cats decided to play hide and go seek, though it was mostly hide on their part. I look forward to going back. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
