  • Really enjoyed our trip to Downstream Casino. They have slot machines ranging from .01 cent play and up. Nice variety of machines to choose from. They pay out pretty good. Of course the higher the amo...  more »
  • We were in the Joplin area, and decided to check out this casino. When we got their players card, it came with $7 loaded on it. The casino is very clean and although they allow smokers, the air is fai...  more »
  • I come here every year. Each year the front desk is sassy and short, and the check-in process is a total s__t show. BUT once you get past that annoyance, the casino resort is actually pretty nice. The...  more »

  • Good amount of truck parking with frequent shuttle service to the door. Good drink specials during Saint Louis or KC baseball games. Nice quiet poker room. No Craps or Roulette though. All in all a good spot.
  • The casino and hotel were both great. The valet however was horrible. We stood there for over 20 minutes for them to find our car. Not because they were busy because wee were they only ones standing there for at least 10 minutes before the next guest came to get Thier car. This delay caused us to be late for an appointment that was 2 hours away which forced us to reschedule. Never once was there an apology or did they come up to us to let us know what was going on. When I went in to check on it half way through the guy behind the counter only said they are searching lot 2 for it. HOW CAN YOU LOSE A CAR WHEN THAT IS YOUR JOB is what i wanted to scream. If they didn't know to write down what type of vehicle it was they shouldn't be working valet. Needles to say the someone had to drive the valet that brought us our car around just to find it. It was a horrible start to my anniversary. If we make a trip to them again we will not be using the valet again
  • We ate at the Red Oak Restaurant and stayed one night. Red Oak was amazing. Jen our server was perfect. Food was outstanding. Our room was extremely nice. We stayed in room 218. Nice big shower too. Look forward to going back. Staff very helpful
  • Stopped here from California on the way to Kentucky. Great room rates at $130 and a much nicer/bigger room than we would have gotten in comparison to anywhere we had previously stayed at an ordinary hotel. Very nice and clean, employees were great.....and of course, the attached casino where my daughter and I both won. A+ experience.
  • When they first opened we considered it subpar compared to the casinos in KC, but after spending time there we now love everything about Downstream! We don't usually win much...but we almost always end up with a free room after our visits, so it kind of evens out. We always have a good time, but last time we treated it as more of a vacation than a visit...rented a cabana by the pool (totally fun and affordable, plus the pool staff was outstanding!), ate at the Steakhouse (a little pricey but not unreasonable-and the food was well worth it) and got a fancy room. Best time we've ever had and will definitely be doing it all again as soon as possible!
