Quakertown Farmers Market and Flea Market Reviews
Been coming here forever, good deals all around. My son loves playing with the R/C cars inside. $3 for 15 minutes or $5 for a half hour and he loves it. My favorite stand is the "Coop" can't beat thei... more »
The stick bun place is great, so are their cheesecakes, also the small shops are good for candy and health foods and clothing, more »
Great place to get fresh meat or cheeses, breads, and produce. Prices are better than a grocery store and fresher. more »
If you're bored, this is a nice place to like go and explore just to look around. Most things I wouldn't buy because you know they are fake/cheaply made. The only thing I ever bought was candy from a candy store and A jacket from another store which was cheap but as survived years and still look good. I think the market needs a bit more updating and what not. it's just not as great as a market as others are.
The best comment I can make is - IF YOU CANT FIND SOMETHING YOU LIKE OR WANT - IT DOESN'T EXIST! It has the normal bakeries, meat markets (Fredericks is the best), fish, birds (Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws, candy, furniture, shoes, anything you saw adverised on info commercial, miniature (non-riding, just hands) car racing for kids... oh my gosh, I've only mentioned a smattering of what is there. Worth a Friday, Saturday or Sunday visit. Make it the ole fashioned Sunday drive visit. It is at least one visit...bet you can't do just one!
Vendors are super cool, interesting, and tasty! Truly a one stop shop for people from all walks of life. Go there to experience what I really mean by that last part. Lol
The Comic Shop in Q-Mart tried to rip me off and literally steal from me. Agreed on a price for a short box of comics, went to the ATM and when I returned I had a bad feeling and double checked the box only to discover two of the most valuable comic books in the short box had been taken out and the seller had no intention of telling me until I called him on it. That is fraudulent business if I've ever seen it. A real shame because his otherwise seems like a cool shop and I would have been a really good customer now I will never go again and tell everyone I can not to do business there either.
Completely horrible. Chuck is horrible and John is horrible. The market has chiggers which is a type of bug and i have welts on my body. I am not the only one who this has affected. The office is very unprofessional. If you're going to laugh at someone who has painful bug bite marks on their body from YOUR market then you're messed up. I think the market could use a new owner and i think someone people should be fired. I seen someone telling John about the bites and he just walked away in the middle of them talking. That is extremely rude and unprofessional. I strongly suggest that you do not come here.
