  • Beautiful, peaceful snorkeling in safe coved area in north shore. Bring water shoes since the lava rocks are sharp. You don't even need snorkel fins since you can float around the cove easily...

  • I bought my self a pair of snorkeling mask that I used it in Sharks Cove. You will find it very easy to go snorkeling here, many beautiful colorful species of fish. There was no sharks though, so I was worrying for nothing 😁 Parking was free and very close to the beach. Most spectacular sunset on this side of the Island. There is local food to try, right across the street. They sell coconuts on the parking, good to refresh from the hot day. People are always friendly so ask for directions to see both parts from Sharks Cove
  • Dope area to stop by to take some pics, look at fish or enjoy some snorkeling. Highly recommend wearing water shoes as the rocks can definitely cause some cuts. Fairly large area I would recommend going down close to where the bathrooms are to get the best views. Water was calm and cool when I went. Plenty of free street parking and fun spot to check out if you’re in the North shore area
  • Awesome place to visit in North Shore! The cove is an awesome place to snorkel and really safe for the little ones! We ended up staying until sunset which was amazing!
  • This is a duplicate listing that should be removed in favor of the other listing. Come prepared with water shoes as the water is very shallow and there are lots of rough rocks at the bottom. Very protected as the rock wall mitigates lots of the north shore wave breaks but be careful as there is still a decent size inlet that pushes a lot of water in to the cove. With such a shallow reef, it’s easy to get pushed in to a large rock so be aware of your surroundings and watch for large waves. Tons of little and even larger fish swimming around. Saw a school of a hundred fish just casually swimming around and nibbling at the rocks. There were also some super long and thin needlefish just swimming near the surface. Plenty of parking along the highway and at designated parking spots when I came at ~5pm on a Saturday.
  • Seems like there are two shark cove spots on google. This is putting you just a bit out to sea from the real sharks cove. Anyway, it’s great here. Came on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. Found a shaded spot..on a slope. But it worked.
