  • Great place to hike, camp, 4 wheel. Beautiful scenery. We have been camping here every year for over a decade. Saw a bear for the first time this year.
  • While on the Dual sport riding the TAT (Trans America Trail). I drove through here and had some time to kill so I hit a few back roads. The scenery is spectacular!!
  • I always love camping here its just so beautiful offering large sites, beautiful views, awsome hiking, just a amazing place. P.s. the bone pile in my pictures I was told was left by a hunting party (I consulted with the national park service)
  • I spent several days traveling around to the various landmarks and scenic spots that were available, and each one never stopped to amaze me with just how beautiful nature is in this forest. Endless treetops and mountain ranges were just the beginning to what is available to see. There was also deer and big horn sheep viewable from the road, and several places to stop and learn about the history of the old towns and mining sites that helped shape the landscape. All of the rest areas are pretty well maintained and clean, and the hiking trails and paths are well marked and mapped out at the scenic spots. Overall this is a pretty amazing place to visit with endless things to see and experience.
  • Amazing scenery. Great hiking. Fabulous camping experience for the family!!
