  • For the size of the zoo this place is just special. I have enjoyed this zoo since I was a small child, am now retired and still find it a magical place to see such special animals.
  • Very well maintained and nice variety of animals. Given that there are two larger zoos within a couple hours away I feel this is a great zoo. The stroll through the zoo is very peaceful. Staff are gre...  read more »
  • We liked the Pueblo Zoo very much. Not overly crowded like many zoos in larger cities. We spent a lovely morning in the company of children. The animals looked well-cared-for and their habitats were e...  read more »
  • Staff are awesome. Animals are super. Plenty of events throughout the year. Petting and feeding zoo, watching penguins and otters get fed. Other animals to observe. Lovely place, good price, year and family passes are available.
  • First time going. Me and my family loved it. Small and super friendly. Love all the shade. Loved going in and seeing animals you usually dont see in the bigger zoos. The food stand was good and prices were great. Made it very educational for my kids as well. We will be going again for sure
  • This is way more than a zoo. There's a huge park around it. You could spend all day at the zoo and have to come back the next day to enjoy the area around it, including a mini amusement park! Near the amusement park there is a small shack that sells snacks and drinks and their prices are extremely affordable.
  • This Zoo is okay, but not top is a smaller zoo but flat for those who have difficulties with stairs and such. I do not find this to be an excellent Zoo although some of the staff go above and beyond. My younger kids like it better than my older child.
  • Pretty disappointed by this zoo. Many of the animals looked very sick, most of the birds are plucking out their own feathers, the exsibits are either covered by vegetation or other fencing which makes seeing some animals almost impossible. The only nice thing are the pathways that are nice and shady. We overheard other families expressing their disappointment over the same findings. Just a very sad sight to see.
