  • Very cute and very well organized, there is a set seft service where you can search the location of the tombs by surname and you implime the plane get, amazing! Unfortunately the tomb of H.P. Lovecraft is the only somewhat careless. The amount of visits you have much lack grass and there are trinkets that leaves people on the grave (obviously left by people who have not read it well to Lovecraft, anyone who has understood it would know that safe stuff would not like him). It would be good that the cemetery is responsible for removing them and fix the grass at his tomb. Moreover, perfect.

  • Such a peaceful place! I enjoyed walking there, if you want to run don't put your earbuds on, because cars are passing by regularly. Swan point which is near the river is such a quiet place and has a nice view.
  • So beautiful and well maintained. I visit my grandmother there, she was a classy lady and deserved to be laid to rest in a beautiful location!
  • A truly stunning garden cemetery. You could spend all day here and still not see the whole thing. No cameras allowed, however!
  • Is this morbid? It's a beautiful place along the river, great place for a quiet walk amid beautiful grounds.
  • One of the most incredible Cemeteries in the world can be found just over the Pawtucket city limits in Providence Rhode Island off of the very Elegant and stately Blackstone Boulevard where amazing monuments can be seen with some of the most naturally opulent surroundings in every season You will find every kind of time enduring sculpture from every era. Something from the Victorian, throughout the Progressive into the Art Deco and beyond.. Extremely wealthy families have a lot of prime real estate set aside even in the After life as a testament to the fortunes their loved ones amassed in life.

Where to stay in Providence

Most of the guest beds in Providence lie in and around downtown; this is the most convenient area to stay in during your visit. Right downtown you'll find a handful of large hotels from national chains. Rooms here can be pricey, but many offer sweeping views of Providence Harbor. Federal Hill features a few locally owned inns, bed and breakfasts, and small hotels in historical buildings. You'll find additional homey establishments around the State House just north of downtown and the College Hill area across the Providence River to the east. Avoid the South Providence area and East Providence across the Seekonk River.
