  • I was staying in Providence for the weekend and decided to catch a show. Saw A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. It was so fantastic!!! I would see it again! The theater is absolutely beautiful, p...  more »
  • I love going to PPAC for events, the seating is very considerate for people that are tall like myself and my wife. The theater is beautiful inside and in the lobbies and harkens back to a by-gone era ...  more »
  • The PPAC is the best-kept secret in New England. Just saw the Piano Guys, and Wicked , WOW!! There's an intimacy that makes me feel they are performing just for me, and the staff are exceptional! What...  more »

  • Not only was the theater beautiful as always. The administration and procedure of getting guests and patrons through the building and to their seats was flawless. While the seats are comfortable and very accommodating, makes for a very spectacular night.
  • I've been here twice, to see Wicked both times. It's a great venue. Absolutely beautiful ambiance. I have sat in the 2nd balcony both times and have had a great view at a pretty decent price. Sign up for the mailing list and get discount codes every once and awhile. Everyone working at PPAC, from the ticket takers to the ushers and food/drink vendors were super nice. During intermission, we found the lounge at the bottom of the stairs from the left balcony to be perfect. It's kind of tucked away from everyone, so it was a lot less crowded than the other vendors. There's a convenient garage across the street from PPAC or there are plenty of lots lining the same street. If you want to grab a bite to eat before or after the show, Blake's Tavern is less than a 5 minute walk from the theater and their kitchen is open late.
  • I am giving this venue 2 out of 5 stars not because of quality but because it is time for people to take a stand against stupid extra fees that occur at the end of an order. I spent $200 on tickets but does it end there? No. Each ticket needed to be charged with an extra $15 service fee. What service? Me filling out all the forms online and figuring out the convoluted seating chart? I should be charging that fee not them. Oh and then at the end of it all... $7.00 to have the tickets emailed to me. Where is the free delivery option? Usually email is the free one and tangible mail incurs a fee. I honestly get disgusted at this petty money grubbing that occurs at the end of every ticket order I make. I essentially got upcharged 20% on my tickets for all the work they had to do to digitally process my order? Honestly. I would prefer that cost just get lumped into the ticket price, that way I could pretend I wasn't getting screwed out of an extra 20%...
  • Beautiful that's all I've got to say, beautiful. I dance there every year for American Dance Awards and it's like living the dream.
  • Top notch old theatre. Only downside is lack of convenient parking.
