  • From start to finish, this tour was the most laid back and friendly tour I’ve ever experienced in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen in my life! We were greeted at the parking area, checked in with such kindness and shortly began our tour with Donna (after petting Hula the golden retriever). Donna guided us casually through the beautiful trails of the gardens, pointed out various plants and flowers, taught us a bit about what we were seeing and provided samples of various fruits and other goodies along the way. Halfway through the tour we enjoyed a chocolate tasting which was divine! We learned about the various types of cacao and were encouraged to sample as much as possible before finishing up with the remaining walk through the exquisite gardens. Our group was small and we were encouraged to listen or wander and take photos and ask questions. It truly was paradise. Beauty beyond words. At the conclusion of our tour, we were invited back any time during this vacation with a mini-complimentary vacation membership. We gave Hula one last pet before heading out for the day, and plan to stop back for a stroll before our vacation in Kauai ends. Now we truly understand why Kauai is known as the Garden Isle.
  • I have asked many people what they thought compared to the other gardens and the consensus was... "This place has it all condensed into one spot, so in one sense, it is nicer." I have only been to one garden,.so I don't know anything else. It is beautiful though.
  • One of my most favourite tours on the island!! Such a beautiful and out of this world kind of place to go visit. Wish we had more time to go back again and again. A shout out to our tour guide Brad! So much knowledge about the different plants. Such a great tour. Definitely worth going on the tour just to get that little extra info plus tasting of chocolates, honey and fruits!
  • A wonderful collection of tropical plants and trees from around the world. Our tour guide, Brad, had a wealth of knowledge about all the different species, their origins, and various properties and uses. Money well spent.
  • My wife and I had a great time at Princeville Botanical Garden. They were super informative and well priced for what you get. We got a lot of information, shown the grounds, tried some of the edible plants, and talked about Hawaiian/Kauai history with plants and their own history with being a botanical garden and getting the plants. Overall, I would recommend and tell anyone to go. It was enjoyable, informative and well done.
