  • "Big mountain skiing only minutes away." That is their tagline on ads, and it is true. The highest mountain east of the Berkshires, Wachusett Mountain is a state park with wonderful hiking trails (tha...  more »
  • Came here for some lunch and beers and a band. Then went to the top for the views. The band was really good. We got a pulled Pork sandwich with coleslaw on top and rice on the side.  more »
  • Only about an hour and a half from Providence the mountain has only about 1000 feet of vertical and not a lot of black diamond skiing but it has everything else needed for a quick trip enjoyable day. ...  more »
  • Here for a spring wedding. Just gorgeous! Got to ride the gondola and get an amazing view. The food was delicious and the ooen bar drinks all well made and strong. We had a blast!
  • Nice little ski resort. They offer a military discount ad the lodges are pretty nice. We were there on a really cold night and the lodges were still pretty busy. Had a great time though.
  • Was there for a 10k run. The area was beautiful, with gorgeous views at the summit. Clean are with friendly staff. I look forward to coming back for other events and to snowboard in the winter.
  • A small and busy place, but one of the closest to NY , Boston etc, and with night skiing, and easy transportation. The snow gets quickly run down. But since people come anyway, they do not seem do care too much, so it could be extremely icy. Lift lines can often be long on the weekends. To avoid the long lines, the best time to ski/ride is 1-5pm , but you need to pay extra for the ticket to go past 4pm. Not a problem with the MaxPass, which already currently includes day/night skiing here.
  • Good mountain for beginners or intermediate skier. Great as well for Kids that are leaning to ski since pretty much all the runs are not difficult (even those labeled as black diamond). Lift prices are a bit steeper than other places, may be due to it's proximity to Boston, but the base lodge is nicely kept up and well maintained.
