  • It was a rainy day but the experience with wine tasting made it worth it. Used a Groupon for 2 people for tastings, with a bottle of wine of your choice. Well worth it. Enjoyed all the whites and reds...  read more »
  • Went there for a wedding and reception. The location is beautiful. Rolling hills and vineyards. Perfect spot for a smaller wedding. The staff at the winery for the reception was wonderful. Friendly, h...  read more »
  • We went here in November when it was chilly so there wasn't much going on in terms of entertainment. The grounds were still pretty, but since everything was almost "dead" for the winter, it wasn't as ...  read more »
  • Pro Tip: If you’re in town and want to visit a winery, check out Groupon or other similar sites for deals on tastings at Running Hare. For a discounted price ($25?) a pair of us sampled their wines, kept souvenir glasses, and walked away with a bottle of our favorite wine. After 8 wines, there was a clear winner for us that made the voucher worth it. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes in line, but they clearly seemed understaffed on that particular day—can’t imagine that’s a regular wait. Great views and a relaxing place to walk around. Four stars for offering deals to social sites!
  • Average wine, elegant grounds, slightly overpriced. Only the discontinued Sangiovese was worthy of purchase for our group of six. We participated in an elegant wedding here, but had better wine at Port of Leonardtown (worse at Perigeaux).
  • Fabulous grounds and wonderful wines. There is a little stage by the bar/tasting pavilion, I must come on a weekend for the music!
  • Best wine I have EVER HAD from a local winery. Plus, the grounds and atmosphere can't be beat.
  • An amazing vineyard located in Prince Frederick. Take a picnic and enjoy a bottle of wine at their outside tasting area surrounded by grapes.
