  • Have heard about this winery and thought we would take a look to see what they have to offer. You pay an entrance fee of $10 per person. If you walk straight up, you will be by the beer tasting/bar. O...  more »
  • Great wedding venue, tucked away down a long driveway, but only ten minutes from Prince Frederick. Occasional live music, good wine, and also beer by Calvert Brewing. A great place also for a picnic o...  more »
  • Went for their Spring Festival and even though it poured down rain we were able to stay under cover and warm. The pavilion where the wine tasting takes place had ample seating and heaters along with f...  more »

  • This place is not five stars. They say yes it's OK to bring your kids but they have nothing for kids to do to keep them occupied. The only thing they provide for kids is snow cones and thats not always there either. Other than that it's letting your kids run around in the woods. This place should not be telling parents it's OK to bring your kids. When they actually have nothing for kids to do. I mean you can't even enjoy yourself without having to worry about were your kid is. It's not like they have a big playground and you could sit off to the side. And have some piece of mind and say hey my kids are at the playground playing with other children . So I don't think it's a good idea to have a big family day and bring the kids to this event on Mothers day or any event until they do some improvements and it's not like they don't have the money to do it either they make plenty of money here not only do they do vineyards they hold wedding receptions here to. So the people who do bring there kids here are being selfish. They dont even have a alcohol cut off. It's drink all you can till you are stumbling out to your car. And they will let you leave like that to. So they actually don't care people. Unless you don't care about your kids being around a bunch of drunks.
  • Good atmosphere and wines are not great but very good.
  • Pro Tip: If you’re in town and want to visit a winery, check out Groupon or other similar sites for deals on tastings at Running Hare. For a discounted price ($25?) a pair of us sampled their wines, kept souvenir glasses, and walked away with a bottle of our favorite wine. After 8 wines, there was a clear winner for us that made the voucher worth it. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes in line, but they clearly seemed understaffed on that particular day—can’t imagine that’s a regular wait. Great views and a relaxing place to walk around. Four stars for offering deals to social sites!
  • Best wine I have EVER HAD from a local winery. Plus, the grounds and atmosphere can't be beat.
  • Fabulous grounds and wonderful wines. There is a little stage by the bar/tasting pavilion, I must come on a weekend for the music!
