  • We went down for an elk viewing. It was a guided tour on a bus, a prison bus…! The tour was a bust we didn’t see any elk, the park recreation guide, Trinity, felt extremely bad. It is no fault of thei...  more »

  • The Jenny Wiley State Resort Park is an excellent place to eat or lodging. Either way you are a winner! The restaurant has now reopened( due to a fire) and serves the most delicious food ever! I would...  more »

  • So peaceful and quiet. Really enjoyed spending the weekend with my husband for our 23rd wedding anniversary. We stayed in a cottage, they're like home away from home just bring your clothes and food if you plan on cooking or restaurants are fairly close if you'd rather someone else do the cooking. The bed spread and curtains could be updated but overall great place.
  • Fantastic all around. Came in for the elk hunt. Rooms were a really clean throwback to the hotels I stayed at growing up. Appeared to be remodeled recently. Cleaning staff was on the ball and the rest of the staff was super courteous. The restaurant downstairs was great; the best hot brown I have ever had. Had a nice balcony overlooking the lake and the mountain. Heard a bunch of birds and a few elk bugles in the morning.i checked out the pool and it looked really nice. You can't beat it for the money. Really looking forward to trying out the cabins next time. I can't recommend it enough.
  • Just a heads up that the 'Lodge' is more of a motel than a lodge. The pictures on the website of the rooms and accommodations are not representative of the truth. The rooms smell very musty as well. We asked for a 7:30 am wake up call that we received at 8:30 am. The restaurant inside the lodge is over priced and the food is not good. The grounds I am sure are lovely, we were only there for lodging, and didn't have time to take in the sights.
  • Nice family resort lodge for a mini-vacation. Stayed at the lodge & enjoyed the swimming pool. Staff very friendly & provide great service. Jenny Wiley Theater was outstanding. As with all the state park restaurants we've been to, the food was unimaginative & lacking in flavor. That was the only negative aspect of our visit. Plan your stay from Thurs-Sat if you want to participate in all the activities.
  • Food is excellent. All you can eat buffet is good. Haven't ordered off the menu in over 4 years...lol
