John Mary-Lee Dalice and Blaze’s love for food and entertaining is from generations of family traditions. Their ability to create authentic Italian feasts out of what seemed to be nothing manifested itself into a thriving business with international distribution for ten years. Their line of all natural specialty foods was called Sumptuous Selection. The product line which included infused oils and vinegar, sauces, preserves and dry herbal blends were sold internationally to gourmet shops and department stores. Simultaneously, John started to perfect a generational hobby of wine making, crafting what he had been taught from his father-in-law, Raphael Blaze Faillace. John has won numerous awards for his wines including international titles. Dalice Elizabeth, President and co-founder of Sumptuous Selections died in 2000. In her memory the family renamed the business Dalice Elizabeth. To visit Dalice Elizabeth Winery and get the most from your holiday in Preston, create itinerary details personal to you using our Preston trip planner.

The wine tasting room is very small and we had to wait a while for the tasting. The person giving the tasting was very knowledgeable. The estate Chardonnay was our favorite.

We've been to Dalice twice now and absolutely love it here. The scenery is second to none... I love the little pond and how green it is in the spring. The tasting offers five wines for $10, and every one of them is worth tasting. We purchased a cheese plate the first time we came here, which had a tasty selection, and brought our own the second time so we could tailor our options. The people that work here are cool and know about the wines. We had a fantastic experience the first time we were here and I wish I had gotten the server's name so we could thank her again. She was funny, easy going and kept track of where every customer was in their tasting. We'll be coming back every year for the wines and the view!

Visited this winery in the past and enjoyed the wine and venue. However we stopped by in the fall and found that it was closed due to flooding. Nothing posted on the website to let people know. Stopped by yesterday and today June 1 and 2nd. Closed again, nothing on the wineries web site again!! Very frustrating.

Great place for romantic couples or a girl's afternoon out; took my sister-in-law. 5 wines, 5 sets of chocolates - both delicious. The scenery is beautiful inside the building & out! It was the first day for the girl serving us, but you wouldn't really know it. While she didn't know all the details about each if specifically asked, she told us what she did know & was just overall very good. We had no clue it was her first day until she told us. The Harvest Moon was by far our favorite put of the 5. You do have the option of purchasing full glasses of whichever for $10 or full bottles for $30. We definitely wouldn't mind going back again sometime. :-)
