  • Prescott National Forest offers a wide variety of activities for every age group. They have walking trails, bike trails and some amazing wilderness watch areas. During the summer visit one of the lookout towers, the Ranger on duty is happy to give you a tour of the tower and tell you some wonderful facts about the area. They have day use and camping areas. Our forest is home to several species of birds and wildlife. A wonderful place for family and friends to gather. Please use our forest responsibly, PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT!
  • Having growing up living in the forest I'm always drawn back to it. Lots of things have changed but the feel of it remains,. Brings to me that welcome home feeling. Many good memories shared with friends, family and relatives, many that have passed, we all worked hard, played hard and strived to take care of the forest. There weren't as many people living there as there are today. I am thankful for having lived there and the memories I carry. Enjoy the forest. It speaks volumes but you have to listen,
  • Just a great way to spend time outdoors with family. I love the tours. Just make sure to obtain fishing and camping permits ahead of time if you're planning to stay awhile. Go to the county website for info on all the activities available
  • Great food and atmosphere. With an old authentic buildings. The floors are all original. I love the old Western look. Awesome.
  • This is an overwhelmingly gorgeous forest and I would recommend anybody driving through Arizona to check it out. You never know what you're going to find right over the hill some of the little Hills are like table tops. The rocks on the ground have so many different colors in them from purple to Green to red to blue and they all seem to be made of this Crystal material. The Prescott National Forest is huge and vast, so I would be prepared if you're going to explore it.
