  • $4 to PARK! We were on the Poughkeepsie side in Nov 2016 and there were signs up that they're going to start charging to park your car. It looked like there was plenty of neighborhood street parking, but I imagine in the summer time street parking can be difficult. In my opinion, it is not worth $4 to walk it. Otherwise a beautiful stroll. The bridge is very sturdy and very wide. It was filled with families with kids on scooters, couples with dogs, bikers and joggers. Very busy. We walked casually and it took us an hour round trip.
  • What this town has done is amazingly brilliant, They took an old railroad bridge and turned it into one of the Most incredible walk ways and yes it goes over the Hudson River. This Walk Way is a Shining Star in the World of recycling and renovation. this area needs more great things built around this Bridge to Highlight it's Greatness. Who ever came up with this idea I would like to buy em a Beer !
