  • Great time to visit the Hudson River this time of year with all of the leaves changing. Nice breeze now and it still isn't cold. A very nice walk. Good idea to check this out.
  • We went to the Walkway Over the Hudson on a Wednesday (late) morning in October. The fall foliage is about halfway to spectacular, but was still beautiful. The Walkway is wide enough that even if you'...  read more »
  • For our 44th anniversary we did our first trip to the Hudson River Valley, for a one week stay. We visited Tarrytown, Poughkeepsie, and Kingston. Walkway over the bridge was a lot a fun, good exercise...  read more »
  • Love the Walkway over the Hudson! A must see when traveling to NY. Fantastic views of the Hudson River and the surrounding mountains. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring along some bottled water for your walk. Most importantly, take your camera for capturing the incredible views.
  • Great walk with spectacular views up and down the Hudson River. Elevator takes you to the eastern shoreline area and path leading to Upper Landing Park with plaques on history of the area, picnic benches. Path from that park leads to local restaurants along the shoreline with nice views of the Hudson.
  • Came here on the metro north from nyc. We came because of a promotional video that made it look really amazing, but the whole experience actually being there was very underwhelming. You walk over a bridge over the Hudson, and you're done and you go home.
  • Great view! We parked with no fee which I was expecting since it was mentioned in one of the reviews. Lola cafe was very nice and good food but it's limited seating. Going back when the foliage changes in the fall.
  • Great view on a well maintained walkway, part of the Rail Trail which extends for multiple miles in each direction. Loses a star for paid parking and the occasional mess left by dogs.
