  • We took the brewery tour before having lunch. It was fun, enthusiastic guide, although it was a Saturday so not much was going on in terms of activity. Got four decent sized tastes of beer afterwards....  more »

  • Great beer, great service, great food. Mostly. The fries could have been better (somewhat mealy) but amazing fried fish!
  • We have been going to the Cataqua Pub for over 15 years and are part of the mug club. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago they changed their menu considerably and it no longer resembles food from a good brew pub. Before now, we use to always enjoy the food and the menu. The only item on the menu that was typical of a pub was a hamburger. The hamburger was clearly a pre-fab frozen piece of meat that had been cooked to order. However, it was covered in a cheese sauce - not even real cheese. I'm giving them 2-stars because the beer is still good. Until they revise the menu back to something a bit more traditional and less exotic/cheap we will not be returning. Which is unfortunate because we have been enjoying the food for years.
  • Totally changed their menu. Catering to the hipster crowd now. Used to love going there, but now the menu is so bad, it's not worth going. Can't even get a straight up burger any more.
  • Beer is always good but the limited menu was a disappointment.
  • Take out order. The food was fresh and well prepared. Salads were large and filling. Would dine there again, great value for the money!
