  • The gardens are beautiful and overlooking the water . It is a lovely place to walk sometimes it is difficult finding a parking spot in the street so we parked in the free parking lot
  • Portsmouth is not a big site seeing place and more of a quaint town with some chatchkey shops tourists love. The park is apparently another highlight due to lack of others, I would not go out of your ...  read more »
  • This is just the place to take a break. Watch the ships. Watch the bridge go up and down. There was a play going on when we were there...The Little Mermaid.. It was actually quite a good performance.
  • Lovely waterfront park, close to the downtown shops and Strawberry Bank. We took a Gundalow boat ride that left from here, and there was a small play performance going on when we left, and a small band playing when we returned, so there appears to be a number of local activities occurring here at any given time. There's an interesting view of the bridge, which glides up and down to accommodate tall ships.
  • Love Prescott park. Beautiful water view park that we very frequently go to with our grandchildren for picnics and play. Lovely gardens and great summertime entertainment
  • Beautiful water front view wonderful summer entertainment with snack bar during events wonderful fountian and flower displays one of the high points of portsmouth summers
  • Great shows by donations. Outdoor theater with local & national acts plus one big summer play each summer that is always spectacular. Local dance, performing arts programs & radio stations often put on shows, as well. Kids theater camps have great fun shoes in the summer too
  • Every summer they have live outdoor concerts and plays on the waterfront. The concerts feature many national and international groups that range from new to well established. You will also find many great restaurants and shops within walking distance from the park.
