  • I loved it. Super awesome. Going through the sub was amazing. You can actually turn and twist all the knobs you want. Periscope actually works. The entire sub has audio clips you can play to learn more about it during your self guided tour. Super tight quarters. So cool!
  • This is a great tourist stop, easily accessible from both RT 1 and I-95. It's very hands on and the kids loved it. You can try out a berth or bunk bed, and see all the equipment that was in this sub. The kitchen mixers were huge. The engine room is also a favorite. It's an amazing piece of history and technology.
  • Walking through the old submarine was one of the coolest things I've done.
  • Great place to bring the family. Most people's visit time is 1hr
  • Great little museum. Fun for young kids and adults. Inexpensive to buy a self-guided audio tour. Fifteen minute video explains why the sub is there, then you get to walk through the submarine. Beware, there are a lot of tight spaces and climbing through some of the portals is tough if you are taller or need assistance walking. A nice stop on the way to Portsmouth.
