  • Just around the corner from the customer I was visiting. Boy did this turn out to be a pleasant surprise for lunch.,was greeted quickly with a beer sample. Great view of the bridge and the brewery out...  read more »
  • The brewery has been growing over the years and the facility is deceptively large now. The tour is OK, pretty plain vanilla compared to Sam Adams or Goose Island for example. The tour ends with some s...  read more »

  • Great service but over priced beer and food. Similar to McMenamins, They are running on reputation not the quality of the food nor the price of their beer. I ordered a Lamb burger. It really tasted like beef. I did complain and the server did go to the manager who said it was lamb but would give me something else in its place. That was a nice offer, but I ate it. Trust me I eat a lot of lamb and beef and as stated this was not 100% lamb. I would give it a 20 % lamb and 80% beef. But the soups were fantastic, both the beer cheese and the spicy red pepper. (Which is why they did not get 2 stares, I do not plan on returning, too many other great restaurants.
  • This place is a great spot to visit for the simple fact of being Widmer Brothers home brewery. Whether or not you believe their brand has "sold out" or not, they were still created and grown locally in Portland. Historically important to the present reputation Portland and the state of Oregon has for excellent microbreweries. It's actually not as big as one would think coming from such a big name. It's small, yet intimate and has a lot of pictures from the beginning of the brothers ideas and first attempts. The food was good, but didn't blow me away. Yet, brewery food isn't supposed to, is it? It's not expensive and you already know the beer is great. Give it a try if you're visiting or a local! It's worth a visit.
  • Came here for their burger week special and the burgers were delicious. Their hefe beer was also delectable! Service and atmosphere was top notch.
  • Plenty of seating, beer is $6, entrĂ©es are ~13-20, not really a beer hall vibe (room is a square and too high of ceilings) but it's good to drink and eat at regardless. Service is GREAT!
  • With an extensive beer list and delicious pub food I was a happy camper. I greatly enjoyed my chicken wings at a happy hour discount. I just wish they had fries.
