  • Very clean open trails that overlooks portland and Gresham. Great way to get in a quick hike and avoid all the nice down on ground level. Just a short 10 min hike to the top from the upper parking lot. From there you can choose your favorite hike. Cool information stop before the hike.
  • I've been biking this place for 20 years now. The recent popularity has obviously increased the numbers of hikers, bikers, horses, etc. That's fine, but there needs to be some basic trail etiquette. Dogs should be on a leach, but most people with dogs either don't know this or don't care. Uphill bikers have right of way to downhill bikers. "On your left" means please move over a bit so I can safely get by. Crossed paths with a uni-cyclist on the trail who wouldn't get over and then threw out ridiculous insults--a douche for sure. I still bike, hike there an enjoy the place, but occasionally ignorance throws its shadow over a good time.
  • This is a nice local park with some good trails. Decent mountain biking if you don't mind the climbs so much. Offers great views. However, gets a bit warm in the summer with limited cover at the top of the butte.
  • Awesome spot and a very clean park. A must stop if you live in the Portland area because the sunsets can be fantastic and on clear days you can see the gorge, Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson. Mt. Saint Helens, and more!
  • This is my new favorite park in the Portland area. There are multiple access points from all sides of the park, and both treed and meadowed sections with substantial elevation gain. I'm here every week now!
