  • Great part that has trails to ride bikes and walk. Some parts of the trail is open with great view of Portland and Mt. Hood. Other part of trails goes through beautiful green forest. There are some picnic tables and bathrooms available.
  • Excellent for a day trip. Good hiking, and far enough away from the city to get peace of mind and be in the thick of nature. Close enough to the city without sacrificing your day.
  • I come here when I want to clear my head and hike but don't want to go out of my way. It's very convenient for me because it's local. I have also watched them expand and improve Powell Butte as well, I been coming here since I was a little girl.
  • Gets five stars for being one of the FEW parks in Portland to allow bikes on trails. It can get a bit crowded but everyone is pretty nice and doesn't seem to mind sharing as long as you're respectful. Angry homeless dude on trail last time but still enjoyed myself.
  • Very big, very open. Perfect for long family hikes. Very beautiful on any given day. Lots of animals. Go with a friend or family member. Bring water.
