  • Easily one of my favorite nature parks close to the city. Lots of trials, great views, excellent variety of scenery. The visitor center has a great info about the supply of Portland area water through a series of reservoirs. In my last visit the animated display was not functioning.
  • The trails are paved which is nice but we were looking for more of a hike and I would say this is more of a nature walk. There's a visitor center at the parking lot that was closed since we went on Labor Day. The trails were marked with signs. We were able to walk up to the summit with two young kids and a stroller and were treated with a pretty nice view. We went on the Mountain View trail and I wish there were more trees around. It was mostly grass and some wildflowers. Perhaps one of the other trails led through a more foresty area.
  • Took my wife here for our anniversary. Wonderful place. We had a nice picnic.
  • Nice views need to put a spot at the trail marks for doggie doo doo bags cause some people don't pick up the dogs mess but other then that my family & I love it
  • One of the cleanest and well kept parks I've seen. The maps aren't detailed enough though, there's a lot of trails that are very well established but aren't in fact the main trail so it's easy to get turned around briefly. I love sitting at the top and meeting the dogs and occasional horses that go through.
