  • A friend of mine and I planned this trip according to photos we saw on line. We arrived at the main gate a few minutes after 9 (time they open). The lady opening the gate told us they weren't open yet...  read more »
  • Beautiful! Educational! If you have a 2-5 year old the Honey Bee hike is well worth it! But even if you don't, pop in for a stroll, your soul will sigh.
  • Drove over there from aloha area today with my son who didn't have school today. I don't want to seen ungrateful or rude but the botanical garden is pretty lame. It's smaller than I thought and the walking bridge to go to the stone house was up and not accessible this time of year. This information could have been on the website but I didn't see that anywhere. The funnest part if the trip was picnicking up at the top where you have to park and watching cars ignore the bridge out signs and then come back out because they couldn't get through. Won't be back. The signage for plants are good and the flora is neat but it's not at all what I expected. Seems run down and unorganized.
  • A hidden gem! Serene, lovely, quiet and beautiful.
  • What a treasure. We were looking for a low-key, interesting walk that didn't involve hipster coffee/brew pubs. This place is amazing in its lack of pretentiousness, its history, and its accessibility. Just a beautiful place to spend some peaceful time enjoying our world.
  • This place is just tucked in close to Foster and depending on the time of year you go, it can be quite lovely or quite simple. There is a building and patio area for people who wish to book the place (weddings and meetings and stuff). But, for a simple excursion and a nice walk I think it's a very pretty place especially in the spring and summer months.
