Great place to walk/run. There is also a small playground. Beautiful view of Casco Bay. You can walk down below and head to the old port from there.

Amazing place. Beautiful. Wish we had this in NYC. It's a great place for a walk, or even a bike ride. Grab a bite to eat in Portland a definitely check his area out. We had lunch here and it was well worth it vs. Waiting an hour for a seat at the restaurant.
Amazing place to come relax or get some exercise. Everything from beach and boat ramp to playground, sports fields and courts, scenic outlook, and wide open fields exist along the promenade. Plenty of free parking along side the road.
The Eastern Prom is a place that everyone should experience first-hand. Visitors need to see it because it offers a view that I can only describe as a moving postcard. Even people who live in Portland should make it a point to go see it regularly. I've lived on or near the Maine coast my whole life and the view from the top of the hill is something that never fails to remind me what a beautiful state I live in.
Beautiful place for some informal outdoor fun. Great location for running or biking from the old port area.
Great spot for your kids to play and take a stroll. Nice view of the ocean.
