  • Outstanding water park built inside an old quarry in Portland, Ct. Only 1.25 hours drive from Boston. Check this place out online. The water is always very warm, spring feed so its super clean and because it's an emergency drinking water source, the water is tested daily for every micro organism you could imagine. Get a full body workout swimming at this water park. One of a kind business, A must do summer time adventure.
  • Very fun! Barely any lines and it was very cheap. Very laid back staff let us do pretty much anythin we wanted to do. They were nice and not annoying. Water was clear and was refreshing to swim in. They were so many rides to choose from and you could do as many as you wanted to. I got there as soon as they opened up and left when they closed so it was a full day thing. Very very fun and I will be coming back!
  • My experience at Brownstone Park is always extremely awesome. My husband and I come here more than 5 times in the summer. It's defenetly a great place for couples, family and friends. You will leave with a smile. This year 2016, the park has provided brand new safety life jackets! They are constantly cleaning the bathrooms. They also have new water trampolines. The best time to come and enjoy is on a weekday and if you come on a weekend it's best to come early. The place is so big it does not feel crowded. Me encanta!!I Luv It!!! Staff are great. We will defenetly come back, even though we have lost our go pro in the bottom of the lake, we have reported it to the lost and found.Hopefully an awesome scuba diver will find it and the park can return it me!!!! • I went on a school trip and right off the batt I thought it was In a very odd location. Based on the name I thought there would be walking trails an other land based activities but it was all aquatic. You have to buy locker space to store your things and some activities like kayaking were not included in the entry fee. Some of the inflatables were very difficult to get on ( and I consider myself a relatively fit individual) and it made it harder to have fun. Seems like a great spot to book a party far a preteen and their friends. If you like water activities it's the place for you... me not so much.
  • I'm not sure we all visited the same place.... Reading some of the "positive" reviews has me extremely confused. I went to Brownstone Park in CT this weekend (7/24/16). This place is horrible! While it does look nice at a distance, it is NOTHING like the websites exclaims it is. No real order of operation here. Its every man for themselves in the water, which is extremely UNSAFE! The life guards are doing little to NOTHING the help the safety situation. The area that is designated for children under 100lbs is also unsafe. My 4 years old son got suck in between two of their floats and I had to climb up to help him out of it. Once I climbed up the life guard yelled at me to say I can't go on the children's' ride. But she didn't bother to help my son! This place was over crowded and ghetto!! I left after being there for only 40 minutes. The lines for the zip lining and cliff jumping where 2 hours long, that's what we where told by the lifeguard when we asked. I wouldn't even go there if it was free! Terrible experience.
