Where to stay in Portland

You'll discover a number of hotels in Portland's waterfront area--one of the city's liveliest neighborhoods--that offer proximity to a selection of restaurants and bars. If bed and breakfasts are more your style, look to the city's West End, where a number of establishments sit alongside fine 19th-century mansions. Those interested in staying in Munjoy Hill can find a number of vacation rentals there.

  • Not many items, and largely overpriced knick-knacks. Fun to look around, but you are better off looking for another flea market in the area for some discount shopping. Wound up spending about 30 minut...  more »
  • Very nicely displayed items. Plenty of room to wander around.. Very friendly staff and owners on site.  more »
  • The market place had a lot of old junk that were pretty useless (and overpriced). It's an unfriendly reminder of how much garbage humans create, hoard, and then don't know what to do with afterwards. ...  more »

  • Great collection and reasonable if not inflexible pricing. Folks here are nice but not super knowledgeable on some of their more esoteric items but given that prixing is generally on the lower side is not really a major complaint. Solid place, cant wait to go back.
  • Something for everyone, reasonable prices. Fun. I bought 2 pottery vases and one if galvanized metal.
  • Great selection and decent prices. Got an amazing petrified wood book end in really great condition. The price was already fair and the lady at the cash register deducted 5 bucks just because! Sweet!
  • Incredible place. You can find a lot of you take your time. Very well decorated too.
  • Need deer antlers, old vinyl and interesting retro furniture? A few hours on a Saturday or Sunday at the Flea for all would be well spent.
