  • I was a chaperone for my daughters 8th grade class field trip to Kalamazoo that included a visit to the Air Zoo. Our docent Roger provided great details about several aircraft that are beautifully pre...  read more »
  • This museum is so clean and colorful and bright. Floors, walls, ceilings--all of it. Enjoyed seeing all the different planes, many suspended, plus many fun rides. The kids loved it!
  • We had no idea what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. So many attractions and things to see and do. We had a 2 year old with us so we left after a couple of hours but we could have stayed much...  read more »
  • Great little gem. The museum itself has a wide variety of exhibits relating to air travel. Kids will love it for the flight simulators, and the rides and toys. Adults with any interest in history or flight will find the rest of the museum quite interesting as well.
  • Lots of cool things for all ages. Planes to stare at for some, interactive exhibits for others, rides for kids, and other fun things sprinkled in the mix. Only real downer is their café. Seek food elsewhere
  • Had a wonderful time. The staff was very polite from the moment we walked in. The person at the ticket desk gave us a very good overview of the museum and the 'must see' items, since my girlfriend and I haven't been there in years. All the staff used 'please' and 'thank you' and 'you're welcome,' and all the staff we encountered made sure we were finding everything okay. The facility was very clean. Despite us coming after a group of school kids, it was still very nice. You wouldn't have known there was just an elementary school field trip.
  • Not to crazy about the new flat rate. I used to take the kids there often when they sold a wrist band for the 4 main ride attractions. Now, it is overpriced. When I asked the employee, she stated that " the rides are just a bonus to the actual facility....when, I'm pretty sure this is what keeps people coming back. It's just a prime example of a local business taking advantage of its consumers, who put them in the position that they are in from a business standpoint. Also, the employees were rude & unfair. Also, biased against the children and the height requirements. If your going to regulate a kid for their safety, not to get on a ride independently than you should standardize that across the board. But instead, the employees would pick and choose kids that did not meet the minimum requirement. Allowing some that were shy of the requirement to get on. Telling others not to. The exhibits were top of the line, but nothing that cannot be seen at a museum. Just remember your paying $10.50 for kids and almost $14 for adults for 4 rides. Totally not worth it. Would've have made my experience better and placed the high entrance fee at ease if we would have at least felt welcomed but, this was not the case.
  • Cool museum. Great science and play based gifts. Relaxing atmosphere surrounds sophisticated death dealers and replicas. Kids LOVE the rides. Luckily rarely long lines. Place is often ghost town. Only going while Binder Park Zoo partners. Sad no longer enjoyable grounds with disc golf course. Clearly predominantly military industrial complex propaganda worth only looping data through republican families and their kids. Films offer 3d experience sometimes. Simulators and displays are amazing. Place has the right stuff... But is pretty good example of defense spending to glorify imperialistic past. Which is great. But ask the recipients of the bombs if really the U.S. Oil additive required each to fly Nazi bomber plane could have been cut off or if war isn't just too much fun. #gameofdrones
