  • We took our 11 year old girls to Cascade Mtn. They had a ski lesson with Bruce (very nice). He took them to a few runs and worked with them to get their confidence up. We had a great day. We went mid ...  more »
  • Good for beginners and more advanced. After that 9million expantion, better than ever. Always well groomed, night skiing, love it. Four stars, because food quality and selection is terrible - super processed everything. French fries would be the healthiest option found there, out of all warm meals offered. No. 2, would be marshmallows. And, I wonder why, the food prices are so radiculous high, for such an awful quality. It's not any remote geographically, hard to access place. Otherwise, I advise visiting nearby Portage restaurants.
  • went tubing, and the service was great! i wish the magic carpet hand a magic handrail and it moved a little faster.. i understand its hard to stand on it and thats why its so slow, but it should be faster and it should have a hand rail. otherwise, well kept, some tubes need replacement and better maintenance.. its not a cheap place, so i kind of expected a little better 'upkeep'
  • This is a great ski/snowboard area for beginners or Midwesterners looking for a weekend getaway. There are a few challenging trails for more experienced riders. If you are looking for lots of variety, you might be disappointed. The tubing hill is a good option for an hour or 2 of high-speed excitement. Make sure to check out the new trails on the south edge once you've got the basics down!
  • Best hotel to stop at halfway to Between Florida and Ohio, Michigan Pennsylvania etc. great free breakfast, nice 4-way connected spa and a huge pool with slide. The lifeguard taught my son how to ride the slide and helped him at the bottom to get the feel. Whoever the girl is that lafegusrds and serves the breakfast keep her on staff! She made us feel so welcome. Then the guy filling the game room with tokens gave a couple to my son. The room was looked new, clean and the king with sofa room was perfect for our family of 4. Our stay on the way up made us book again for the way back. Great value!
  • Cascade it great for family's with children and has some quick runs but nothing too technical. If you are a hardcore skier you will get bored after a day, but the new, quicker, lifts help.
