  • Pleasant education center at the front. Trails of 8 mile length parallel to a river system and swamp. Animals, insects, flowers, abundant everywhere. Great for kayaking, hiking, perfect for photography; wonderful park. Explore the goodness of Florida here. There are no old trees or cypress. But that is lacking just about everywhere these days. Great tranquil place.
  • Great walk or bike-about loop trail. The nature center is very cool for adults and kids. The staff is very laid back and friendly. There are native on sale for cheap. The loop trail is good for walking or biking but only in the dry season. Dog friendly too.
  • Great staff. Nice bathroom. Took a massive poop. No issues.
  • It's a nice place to go for a walk, but since this is Florida you only get to see a lot of saw palmetto trees. Nothing too exciting really. The educational center, on the other hand, is really enjoyable.
  • We visited this past Saturday for Pioneer Day. It was outstanding! The park was beautiful and the staff and volunteers very friendly and helpful. Handicap accessible with nice ramps and bathrooms. They also have an all terrain wheelchair so I was able to take my disabled husband on the hiking trail. Very nice park and fun event.
