  • The park is good for their kayak tours but not good for hiking or anything else. Avoid after heavy rains as the water rises too much and the dirt road is barely passable.
  • Sheets State Park is an excellent place to spend a day with family, camninar trails and see the flora and fauna of florida. recommended to visit

  • Pleasant education center at the front. Trails of 8 mile length parallel to a river system and swamp. Animals, insects, flowers, abundant everywhere. Great for kayaking, hiking, perfect for photography; wonderful park. Explore the goodness of Florida here. There are no old trees or cypress. But that is lacking just about everywhere these days. Great tranquil place.
  • Delightful preserve for a day trip. Trails are well maintained. Great for running, biking, walking, and there is a small boat launch for non-motorized boats. Not a lot of places to hide from the sun. Bring sun screen and water!
  • Great park. I have only really explored maybe one third of the parks trails. Good cross county mountain biking.
  • If love nature walks you will love to ride your bike cycle or walk the wonder full paths they have
  • It's a nice place to go for a walk, but since this is Florida you only get to see a lot of saw palmetto trees. Nothing too exciting really. The educational center, on the other hand, is really enjoyable.
