  • Stayed in state park campground for 10 days. Had 50 amp hookup, but no sewage. Instead of filling tanks, opted for dumping sink to drains located in front for that purpose and showers in the campgroun...  more »
  • The campground has beautifully designed and maintained facilities. There is some traffic noise from US hwy 101, which is 100-200 yards from most campsites. No WiFi. Some decent Verizon LTE signal at t...  more »
  • We hiked up and back down - 3 miles each way - and enjoyed the hike a lot. There were several benches along the way, which is good, because we are in our 70's. Elevation climb is about 1,750'.  more »

  • Lovely place, plan to go again. Many views and hikes right next to camp. Showers, bathrooms and pet friendly. Ranger and camp host are friendly as can be.
  • Was lucky enough to grab the only open campsite for my 30" RV. I was told by the camp host and others around me that you need to reserve a camp site 6 months in advance. There are 2 loops I recommend the Larger one. The Stars are AMAZING at night. Second only to glacier point at night in Yosemite. I set out a blanket in the middle of the field and watched the Milky way across the sky for a few hours. I would definite go back there again.
  • An ocean alcove protected from the winds......felt warm, even though it wasn't. Very beautiful. Tide pools :-) One of our favorite spots on our coast trip.
  • Had a site by the river close to the road but the car noise was negligible. Beautiful park! Totally recommend it. Bring bug spray :)
  • Nice, quiet place to stop along the highway. The hike up the hill is supposed to be tough, but the view would be great.
