  • Decent little places to eat & drink (I enjoyed some ice cream) and interesting mix of shops that sold everything from typical souvenirs to local rocks/minerals.  more »
  • Pier juts out over the Laguna Madre allow for fishing and some small boat access. Fishing off the pier is chargeable but sightseeing and strolling are free.  more »
  • We stopped in for a drink after visiting South Padre Island and chose to enjoy the nice weather on the patio. Drinks were reasonably priced for the area and although we did not eat the food looked del...  more »

  • Staff nice and friendly , location is very attractive due to having a mini balcony beach view right off the bridge , However it was not open when I went. Plates usually vary $20 each , But unfortunately I will not be returning unless it's for drinks... the food is bland and not tasteful at all! I was very disappointed and ended up just taking my food to go hoping maybe one of sinilings back at home would eat it since I would have hated it to go to waste , but even they didn't agree with it and it went straight to the trash !
  • Cool spot but they are sticklers about people on the pier that don't fish. I understand everyone has to make their money, but their persistence made the start a little unpleasant. Cash only for the pole collateral is a hassle too. Beautiful fun spot to take the kids and drinks are accessible from the nearby restaurant.
  • A little pricey but a good place to fish.
  • First time taking our kids fishing along with two other families and their kids. We got there about 10pm and left at 1am. Beautiful. experience for our kids. Unfortunately, the staff at the pier is horrible from the moment we walked in. We bought our license and when I asked questions the young guy behind the counter looked at me like I was dumb. The tall heavy set young man told my husband that it was our problem that we had brought our own fishing poles when my husband said he didn't know we could rent them. My downs syndrome son got a Poweraid will my husband stood in line to pay for it and the older man keep looking at my son as if he was going to steel it. Just brace yourselves STAFF SUCKS!!!!
  • Great view, very nice decorations. Felt very secure, great space. Lots to see and take in.
