History Museum Museum
The Thomas Edison Depot Museum is located underneath the Blue Water Bridge connecting Port Huron, Michigan to Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. The depot is owned and operated by the Port Huron Museum and is the actual depot that inventor Thomas Edison worked out of as a news butcher between 1859 and 1863. The museum includes a restored baggage car resting on a short spur of railroad track.

  • Not large but very informational. Kids and historians will love the place and it only takes about 30-45 minutes to visit. Great setting right near lake and lighthouse.  more »
  • A very cute small museum, with an actual rail car on property too, and a statue by the river. Lots of good information, and in the off season, open on Sat and Sun only.  more »
