  • The Grand Gulf Military Park is a hidden gem located between Vicksburg and Natchez, Mississippi. The amount of history packed into this small(ish) park is amazing. The trail / road is about a mile.....  more

  • Not what we were looking for. Cost was reasonable. But touring the old buildings In the area, not much to see.
  • A beautiful place to visit we have our family reunion every year there have been for the past 5 years and we think that it's a wonderful place to visit
  • This is a quite park and nice place to catch up and rest on a long cross country trip. The history lesson on the Civil War is great for you military history buffs like me.
  • Only takes about an hour to tour unless you spend more time viewing the exhibits in the visitor’s center. If you’re young and able, climb the tower for a breathtaking view. When you leave, cross the road and drive to the right for an up close view of the Mighty Mississippi River. There’s a tall pole showing the height of flooding.
  • I loved this place, quite a bit to see. We spent about 2 hours here. Nice museum, a few different buildings to explore. The guy who greets you when you get there was soo friendly and knowledgeable. Also absolutely beautiful place to take pictures. If you are visiting vicksburg and have some extra time, definitely come out here.
