  • Everything was immaculate. There are several different projects in various stages of restoration which is great. Can't say anything bad except I didn't have time to try the diner!
  • We went there solely to see a restored PT boat. Unfortunately the PT boat had just completed her sea trials and was locked away in some super secret location. Wandering around we did get the chance fo...  read more »
  • Nice museum with the highlight being a ride in the cockpit of a Ford tri-Motor. Also viewing the reconstruction of another Tri-motor
  • Stopped by Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio. My family and I had a great time. Plenty of people willing to answer questions about the exhibits. The planes, trucks, equipment and exhibits were excellent! I personally wanted to visit to see the progress of the restoration of the PT Boat 728 "Thomcat". The Museum is planning on making it a fully functioning PT boat to eventually allow the public to get rides on it. They have an authentic 1950's style diner connected right to the museum the Tin Goose Diner. We had lunch right there and the food was great! I highly recommend a visit if you plan on being anywhere near Port Clinton!
  • They answer questions accurately and love discussing the displays
  • Close up views of older aircraft. Nice to see the restorations upclose.
  • Great museum featuring military and civilian aircraft. Local history is spotlighted with the Ford Tri-Motor restoration. Flights on an operational Tri-Motor are available a few weeks throughout the year - beautiful view of the islands from a nearly hundred year old plane. Grab a bite to eat in the restored 1950s diner attached to the museum when you're done!
  • Nice museum where you can see the restorations in progress.
