  • Got fab magnet and birthday cards, and had a good look at the books and the maps on the wall of the area.  more »
  • Great views, really helpful staff and some interesting walks but so full of bugs that we cut our visit short.  more »
  • The Rangers helped us plan our week for exploring and seeing the sights. Warned us about the road closing from 9-1 every day so we could get an early start. That saved a lot of aggravation.  more »

  • This is a great park to get up close to wildlife and nature. This park has coastal areas. Highlands and hoe rain forest. Such cool place to hike but still easy access for wheelchairs and not so adventurous souls. The lodges are all fantastic with great food and fun.
  • I love our National Park Service! My gf & I visited Olympic National Park in May and made a quick stop at the visitor center to check out the park's history and buy some park stickers to remember our visit. I highly stopping Visitor Center (this and any national parks)... they provide visitors insight into the park you're visiting, animals/wild life that were and are part of that park, along with interesting history of the park and surrounding areas. The Rangers in the visitor center are alway friendly and helpful - they make the visit fun and interesting for kids and adults alike. At the Olympic NP visitor center, it is located off residential street/neighborhood and outside the National Park itself - that was a rather different than other National Park visitor centers I've visited. It almost feels like a county park visitor center instead. Anyways, there are bathrooms, open fields for kids to run around, a couple of trails and decent size parking lot. Good place to stop if you're visiting Olympic National Park or nearby!
  • One of our beautiful national parks. A treasure. Only had a day here but will be back for a solid week of exploring sometime. The entire peninsula this park is located on is a gem (Sequim Bay, Port Angeles) and Olympic National Park is the crown jewel.
  • This is one of the 2 main visitor centers in the Olympic National park (the other one being in the Hoh rain forest). The Hurricane ridge summit is 15-20 minute drive from here. Lot of scenic vistas and you can see some wildlife if you drive an hour or so before dusk. You can see snowclad mountains all around, usually up to end of Spring.
  • Inside the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, you'll find the Wilderness Information Center. Here, staffed by veteran backcountry rangers, you'll get the best information regarding your next trip.
