  • This is a beautifully maintained light house, building and grounds. The climb to the top steep but there are plenty of landings where you can stop to catch your breath and pass others . A must see

  • Beautiful place, lots of history. It had a quaint little gift shop. We just missed being able to go in because they were closing. We only got as far as the gift shop. The actual lighthouse was closed for a private event. Really have to go back so that we can see everything. I would definitely recommend visiting, but get the early to enjoy it.
  • Such a beautiful piece of history! We were lucky enough that we had just missed a storm so we were some of the only folks there and we were able to still climb. There is so much to take in that we spent 4 hours wondering the lighthouse and museums. The view is so beautiful up top, it is breathtaking. It really is a must see!
  • Our family enjoyed learning the history of the lighthouse and grounds; relatively small museum buildings you can go in and out of. Everything was very well kept and clean. Climbing the lighthouse was fun even got our 4yr grandson. Good place to stop at for the family. Very nice and reasonably priced items in their gift shop.
  • This was a magnificent experience. So much history in place. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The gift shop contains everything you think as a memento or gift. The exhibits were so interesting. Now the lighthouse itself was spectacular . Beautiful condition and magnificent to behold. If you visit here you have to climb the stairs to the top of the lighthouse. The view is something to behold. If your in the area this is a must see it's like stepping back in the history of Florida.
  • When we first got the the lady who stole us our tickets was extremely rude. But everyone else we encountered after her was extremely friendly. The lighthouse guard was hilarious and very motivating. They lady who did the kids craft was great and informative.
