  • who doesn't like a good bakery? Especially when it is in the middle of no where! Great huckleberry bear claws. It is the last stop before the NW entrance to Glacier National Park.
  • We stumbled upon this place while road tripping it around Glacier Park. Walked inside the store and there was a line 15 people long to by baked goods. The caramel rolls are huge! Nice, peaceful beer g...  more »

  • Absolutely the best part of our whole summer road trip! Friendly staff, amazing bakery, deliciously fresh fruits and veggies. But not just that, this mercantile is in a stunningly beautiful part of Glacier NP and way way less crowded. If you're going anywhere in Montana, this would be my #1 suggestion!
  • The Merc is an essential stop if you are on the west side of the park or you want to get away and take a little trip. Always a bright friendly staff and the baked goods are the best around. The shop is full of easy to buy goods and memorabilia. Well worth the trip and I can't wait to visit again.
  • Pastries are worth the drive. And the view isn't so bad, either
  • Oh my the huckleberry bear claws are amazing! Mmmmmmmm The gal working was so nice and a pleasure to talk to. Look forward to visiting again. The view is beautiful out there too!
  • Good muffins and a quaint little store. The prices are a little high, but not nearly what I expected. It is crowded, but everyone is friendly and in good spirits.
