  • The website did not say no house tours on Christmas Day (Monday) so was disappointed. The Camelia bushes were beautiful and enjoyed walking on the grounds. Will return again when in the area.  more »

  • Such a beautiful state park. Huge trees, water, and a gorgeous southern mansion. Perfect for weddings and family photos.
  • Gorgeous venue. Having my wedding here. The location is beautiful, the staff are nice, and it is just wonderful.
  • Beautiful state park! We enjoyed walking the garden and are considering a state park pass to come here to picnic. It was so quiet, a retreat from the crowded areas around 98. As much as we enjoyed seeing the park, we felt like the tour of the house could have been better for the additional fee we paid.
  • Very nice place to stroll through the gardens and pretend that you are in the old South. Huge trees hanging with Spanish moss and a great lawn with reflecting pool and fountain. Take a picnic and enjoy a few hours away from the beach.
  • Could not have hoped for a more beautiful setting. And to have the area all to ourselves was priceless. It was an honor to be under such an ancient tree on such an important day.
