  • Yesterday (for the second time in two weeks) we stood and watched a large pod of orcas pass by Point Roberts - what a great way to start our day!
  • Lighthouse park is a great place to hear the surf and maybe see some marine wildlife. This visit we saw 3 harbour seals. Past visits we have seen whales cruise by and otters.
  • The views of the ocean are great. The whale watching tower is closed down. Some websites had said there was a pier that you could fish from. There is no pier. There is also no beach as everything is r...  read more »
  • This was a pleasant surprise when I finally got over here. It's a pretty little park on the point, with some easy walking trails. Fantastic views of the waterways and the Olympic Peninsula to the south and west. Point Roberts is sort of a geographical anomaly - a little part of U.S. territory that's separated from the rest of the country by a stretch of B.C.
  • We just had a family 'luau' at the picnic shelter - it was an excellent location for this - the park staff were great - they moved additional picnic tables into place for us, made sure the fire pit was ready, and looked after all of the garbage. Would highly recommend reserving it if you are wanting to have a great family/friends get together.
  • Really cool Sunsweap sculpture/monument. Aligns with the North Star. Nice park with great views. Good camping site complete with cool, clean water for washing up.
  • Amazing views of Mount Baker (I think?), gorgeous sunsets into the water and the beach is filled with amazing looking driftwood. There's also a washroom and picnic tables, lots of parking. Very beautiful Park!
  • Great views to the west and south. Plenty of picnic tables. Clean bathrooms.
